Honestbee Creates Buzz Down South

Online shopping has been increasingly popular among Filipino consumers for quite some time. Significant factors in this phenomenon include the convenience and accessibility it offers. However, when it comes to grocery shopping, it seems that people are still tied to making trips to conventional grocery stores or local markets. This is where honestbee becomes handy.

While honestbee describes itself as an “online concierge and delivery service”, it is essentially an app/website that allows customers to buy grocery items and have it delivered straight to their doorstep. honestbee has been available to Metro Manila customers and they have recently expanded operations to South Luzon areas. To promote these expansions, in-store activations are ongoing throughout this month in Robinsons supermarkets in the south executed by the Forthinker team.

The activations are set in motion to increase awareness about the honestbee app and let consumers know that they can get their grocery essentials hassle-free and enjoy same-day delivery. The elements include a giant honestbee bag for a booth attended by promodisers who introduced the app to shoppers and gave them flyers with promo codes.

These activations were held in Lipa, General Trias, Dasmariñas, Imus, Nuvali, Tagaytay, and Southwoods to a success. Through the assistance of the promodisers, only a few found it difficult to understand the app. Plenty of the shoppers also showed enthusiasm about the convenience of the service.
